Chester County Burn Ban
Email Print RSS Facebook Twitter RSS

By Minquas Fire Company No. 2
October 25, 2024

The Chester County Commissioners have enacted a 30-day Burn Ban throughout Chester County starting Sunday, October 27th at 5:00pm ending Monday, November 26th. No one is permitted to open burn any materials during this time because of the extreme dry conditions Chester County has experienced. This is an effort to prevent any further large wildfires from starting.

Wildfire potential is currently very high throughout Chester County due to the combination of drought, dry fuels, winds, and fluctuating temperatures.
