The Minquas Fire Company No. 2 was established in 1908 on the east side of Downingtown, Pennsylvania in beautiful Chester County. The station today is home to both Fire and EMS (BLS and ALS) crews. Minquas is part of the Downingtown Fire Department along with the Alert Fire Company No 1. on the west end of town serving the Borough of Downingtown, East Caln Township and the surrounding municipalities. Minquas is a combinational department comprised of both volunteers and paid EMS staff. Today there are more than 75 active members running emergency calls.

Before relocating to 141 Wallace Avenue, the Minquas Fire Company was located at 202 E. Lancaster Ave. We were in this station for over 100 years!
