On Sunday morning Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched along with Station 38 (Thorndale), Station 39 (West Bradford), Station 47 (Lionville Fire Company), Station 49 (East Brandywine Fire Company), and Station 51 (First West Chester Fire Company) to a house fire in Downingtown Borough. Upon arrival crews found a small fire on the third floor and extinguished it using a pre-connect handline from Engine 46-2. The situation was brought under control quickly and units were made available shortly after.
