Minquas and Alert fire companies, along with mutual aid companies, were alerted to a structure fire at Caln East Apartments on Sunday morning. First officer report was an active fire in the electrical closet. Crews contained the fire using dry chemical fire extinguishers until PECO was able to secure the power. The apartment office and floors above were checked for extension. Ventilation was performed to remove smoke from the building. Crews were on scene for extended period.
